Our Heart

Accessible Ministry

Our work is deeply rooted in a profound belief that every individual, fearfully and wonderfully made, deserves full access to spiritual community and growth. We understand that many in our communities may be seeking a ministry where they truly feel seen and fully able to participate, yet often encounter unintentional obstacles in digital, worship, or physical spaces.

This is where Level the Paths comes in. As a specialized accessibility consultancy, we blend our passion for ministry with our expertise in accessibility to partner with churches and ministries.

Through training, consulting, and doing the work, we help dismantle these barriers, fostering genuine inclusion and empowering your organization to expand its reach. Our ultimate goal is to help more people encounter Jesus and find their place in the family of God by ensuring your ministry embodies a truly welcoming and accessible spirit for all.

The Need

There is a significant number of people in our communities, both locally and online, who encounter barriers to both learning about the love of Jesus and participating in life within the Church community.

Our Work

Our goal is to work with Christian churches and ministries on a zero-cost basis for our services. Our services include the following:

User-Centered Discovery & Feedback Initiatives

Strategic Accessibility Planning & Program Development

We work with your leadership to define a clear vision for accessibility, integrate it into your ministry's strategic goals, and develop a phased roadmap for implementation, to ensure intentional and sustainable efforts.

Our Path

"Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground."
Psalm 143:10b

1 / The Foundation

  • Gospel Roots & Global Missions: We served as international missionaries, having a lifelong heart for sharing the Gospel and building inclusive Kingdom communities.

  • Skill Preparation: After returning home, we "fell into" the world of digital accessibility with one of us gaining dual professional certifications, and we grew passionate about the field.

2 / The Build (Current)

  • Establishing the Mission: We are currently formalizing Level the Paths as a Michigan 501(c)(3) on a nonstock, directorship basis to serve the Church without barriers.

  • Launching the 2026 Pilot: We are selecting our first Founding Partners and Pilot Study churches, building our staff, and securing seed funding to create the blueprints for truly inclusive ministry.

3 / The Vision

  • National Resource Hub: We see a future where we lead the way in providing the training and tools for every church to remove digital and physical barriers.

  • A Movement of Welcome: We envision a world where every person, regardless of ability, can fully experience the love and community of Jesus Christ.
