Accessibility Statement

At Level The Paths, we are deeply committed to ensuring digital accessibility for everyone, including people with disabilities. As an accessibility organization, we understand the critical importance of a truly inclusive online experience and are dedicated to making our website accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and, in doing so, adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines. Our goal is to meet and exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and user friendly for everyone.

Measures to Support Accessibility

We have taken the following steps to ensure the accessibility of our website:

  • We have designed the various components of this website with accessibility in mind from the outset.

  • We are currently using the Wix Accessibility Wizard, and preliminary keyboard and screen reader testing to identify and address accessibility issues, as we are actively creating the website.

  • We are committed to conducting a comprehensive accessibility audit and making necessary adjustments to achieve full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance. This includes optimizing the mobile viewing experience.

Current Status

As of our Soft Launch on March 27, 2026, Level The Paths is operating in an active development phase. While we strive to ensure our site is as accessible as possible from day one, we acknowledge that digital inclusion is an iterative process. We have prioritized the accessibility of our primary landing pages and donor experience for this launch, though we have not yet completed a formal audit or fully optimized every design element for mobile viewing.

Our donor portal is powered by Fundraise Up, a partner committed to WCAG 2.2 AA standards. We are currently working in collaboration with their team to test and refine our specific integration to ensure the highest level of accessibility for our supporters. We are diligently working toward full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance for the entirety of our site in the coming weeks and welcome your feedback as we continue to refine our digital experience.

Known Limitations

While we are working toward full usability and accessibility, we have noted some limitations that we are actively finding solutions to, whether that be through growing in our knowledge of the Wix, FundraiseUp, and DonateStock programming interfaces and features and working with their respective teams, or finding alternate avenues for the same functionality. The following is a non-exhaustive list of issues we are aware of:

  • The FundraiseUp giving checkout modal does not return to the Give page after exiting (Focus Order), but instead returns to the Home page.

  • Part of the DonateStock widget linked on the Give page and some of the elements on its popup do not pass color contrast guidelines.

  • Selecting links to anchors on the same page may cause a transition animation that could create brief disorientation or trigger vestibular disorders. We have limited the number of same-page links for this reason.

  • Some page elements may not be visible on smaller screens.

Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions on how we can improve, please do not hesitate to contact us:

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 2 business days.
